Man United target Arturo Vidal: “Perhaps I will stay at Juventus for the rest of my life” [Metro]

Manchester United may have been struck a blow if recent comments from target Arturo Vidal are anything to go by, as reported by the Metro.

The Chilean midfielder acknowledged interest from both Man United and Real Madrid but said he didn’t see the sense in switching when he’s already at a big club.

Here’s an extract from the article with Vidal’s quotes: ‘I’ve heard of interest from Real [Madrid], from [Manchester] United, but that’s for someone else to worry about,’ said Vidal.

‘It’s difficult to talk about another team when you already play for a big one.

‘I have run out champions three times here, I have respect for my teammates.

‘Perhaps I will stay the rest of my life at Juventus. When I arrive in Italy, I’ll talk with the coach and we’ll see what happens.

‘Right now the only thing I know is that I have seven or eight days of holiday left.’

It must be noted, Vidal doesn’t say strictly that he wants to stay at Juventus or that he doesn’t want to leave.
