Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has revealed that he is ‘more confident than ever’ that David Beckham’s Miami-based MLS franchise will get the go-ahead in the near future.
The former England and Manchester United legend, who was also an MLS winner during his time with LA Galaxy, is trying to establish a franchise in Florida, and despite many obstacles it looks as though the 40-year old has finally found a site for the franchise which will make his dreams of launching his own team come to fruition.
The MLS has recently grown to 20 teams after the addition of New York City FC and Orlando City FC and should David Beckham launch his Miami franchise then the MLS really will be one of the most attractive leagues in world football.
