Questions were asked when Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes was recently left out of the pre-season squad for their tour of America.
Speaking to the press this evening, Louis van Gaal explained the Spanish goalkeeper’s omission and told reporters he would be selling Victor Valdes this summer.
Behind David De Gea in the pecking order at Old Trafford, the former Barcelona goalkeeper reportedly refused to play for the Man United reserve team last season.
Van Gaal said that Victor Valdes therefore no longer suits the philosophy at the club. See tweets from journalists below.

The 33 year old goalkeeper made his Manchester United debut after David De Gea was struck by injury, making one start for the Red Devils during his six month stay.
The future of Real Madrid target David De Gea remains unclear whilst Victor Valdes is expected to have plenty of interested suitors including Valencia.
Absolutely ruthless stuff from Mr. Louis van Gaal.
