Louis van Gaal ruins Man United’s Victor Valdes & Rafael in presser [Best Tweets]

Speaking in a press conference tonight, Louis van Gaal came out all guns blazing ahead of Manchester United’s first pre-season friendly on Friday.

The Dutch manager, who rarely holds back, took aim at back up goalkeeper Victor Valdes, ruthlessly throwing him under the bus for refusing to play for the reserve team last season.

Van Gaal said Victor Valdes would be sold this summer and also took shots at Brazilian full back Rafael.

Taking swings left, right and centre, LvG said Matteo Darmian was brought in to provide competition for Antonio Valencia at right back.

The eccentric manager was then asked why he signed Darmian when he already has Rafael to which he responded that he needs a right back who can actually defend.
