Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent Bruno Satin has put his client in a spot of bother.
Satin has given an interview with French news outlet So Foot, and the big quote from the agent was a criticism of Napoli’s standing in the global game.
When asked about the likelihood Koulibaly will remain at Napoli for the future, Satin labelled Napoli a “small club”. He said:
He has a contract that he can stay at Napoli for a while. But if there was an opportunity to go to a club who plays in the Champions League every year, we would give that consideration.
From the point of view of the stature of Napoli, it is still a small club.
When it’s raining at the stadium, there are fears of electric shocks in the presidential box, because there are of overhead electrical wires. I don’t think that’s the case at Bayern…
Napoli are currently second in Serie A, a point behind Juventus.
