Jurgen Klopp about Mats Hummels to Man United: “If that’s not a bullsh*t story, I’ll eat a broom stick”

For the second day running, Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has publicly denied the rumours that Mats Hummels is heading to Manchester United.

Earlier in the week, Spanish paper SPORT said that German World Cup winning defender Mats Hummels is going to Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal was rumoured to have landed Hummels for €20m, while Borussia have already moved to replace the defender by signing Matthias Ginter from Freiburg.

Sport said United will confirm that 25-year-old Hummels deal this week.

Now, however, Jurgen Klopp has ruthlessly slapped down that rumour to Sky Sports Germany, with a wonderful comment. As reported by journalist @honigstein, Klopp told the media: “If that’s not a bullshit story, I’ll eat a broom stick!”

It’s also worth nothing that Man United where also linked to Feyenoord centre-half Stefan de Vrij this week too.
