Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere yesterday played 66 minutes in a 2-2 draw at Manchester City, coming on in the first half due to an injury to Danny Welbeck.
The 24-year-old Englishman had played just six minutes this season and took to Instagram to share his thoughts after yesterday’s important point.
Jack Wilshere thanked the Arsenal fans for an amazing reception and wished Danny Welbeck well in his bid to get fit for the Euros.
Former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck injured his knee and Arsene Wenger gave a far from positive post-match report on his injury.
Jack Wilshere described his 66 minute cameo as “the best feeling in the world” and will certainly be hoping to get his career back on track.
The Telegraph recently reported that Roy Hodgson will definitely take the injury-prone midfielder to the Euros despite his lack of first team football.
