Hatem Ben Arfa wants out of Newcastle and is in the viewfinder of Roma [Il Sussidiario]

Italian website IlSussidiario.net are reporting that Hatem Ben Arfa, fed up with life at Newcastle, is angling for a move to Roma this summer.

Ben Arfa’s contract at Newcastle expires in 2015, however the French midfielder has reportedly let it be known that he wants out of St James’ Park when the season closes.

According to Il Sussidiario, whilst Inter milan and Arsenal are also looking at the Newcastle player, Roma is the likeliest next stop for the 27-year-old.

Il Sussidiario suggest that while the Magpies would want 12 million euros for Ben Arfa, the deal, they suspect, can be done for just 10 million euros.

The paper close their report noting that should Ben Arfa prove unattainable, Roma may turn to Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen instead.

Ben Arfa has played 27 Premier League for Newcatsle this season, scoring just three goals and bagging three assist.
