APOLOGIES – THIS WAS BASED ON A FAKE ACCOUNT. SORRY.
Gerard Pique didn’t even use words to make fun of Real Madrid. Instead he used the universal language of emojis.
The Barcelona centre-half took to Twitter during the first half of Wednesday night’s Champions League game, and it seemed obvious the former Man United man wasn’t watching the PSG v City game. Real had a shocker in Germany. While few gave Wolfsburg much hope of reaching the semifinals, the Bundesliga outfit silenced the doubters with a blistering first half display. Julian Draxler was superb, while Ricardo Rodriguez opened from the spot, and Maximilian Arnold doubled the lead for the Germans. Pique, well versed in the art of social media, posted the following tweet. Let’s wait to see if he gets on Periscope after the game – unlike after El Clasico, when Pique was noticeably silence on social media.
