Gary Medel accuses Neymar of play-acting after horrific stamp during Brazil v Chile [Instagram]

Neymar today captained Brazil to a 1-0 international friendly win over Chile at the Emirates Stadium in London.

The Barcelona superstar was on the end of a pretty horrific stamp by Inter Milan midfielder Gary “Pitbull” Medel.

The 27 year old was seen clearly leaving his studs in on Neymar’s ankle but has taken to Instagram this evening to accuse Neymar of play-acting.

The Brazilian winger was left writhing in pain as Gary Medel casually walked away like nothing happened.

On Instagram, the fiery South American midfielder posted a picture which appears to show Neymar with his studs near Medel’s knee.

The photo conveniently does not show the bottom end of Medel’s leg, with his foot firmly planted in Neymar’s calf.

Gary Medel captioned the photo “Some friction is normal in football. Its just that some make theatre out of it and others play on. A shame not everyone can see that.”

Ironically, the Chilean former Cardiff player has no leg to stand on despite trying to make a case for his side.
