Antoine Griezmann is hot property on Wednesday morning according to Spanish daily Sport.
The Real Sociedad forward has recently been linked to Monaco amid all the talk that the Ligue 1 side may be about to lose Colombian star James Rodriguez to Real Madrid.
Griezmann, 23, has been earmarked by the Principality as a player whom come replace James in their midfield, however it’s now coming to light that Monaco may have some competition in trying to land the Frenchman.
Sport claim Griezmann is at the centre of a five way tug of war, with Monaco, PSG, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all vying for the player’s signature.
Sport further claim that Sociedad are only willing to consider selling Grezmann provided bidders offer the €30m stipulated in his buy-out clause.
Taking a step back, it feels like the likes of likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been name-dropped so as to suggest a bidding frenzy for the player which may, or may not, be true.
For the moment, Griezmann is on holiday in Turkey and not due back in San Sebastian until next week.
