Former Liverpool flop Milan Jovanovic scores Le Tissier-esque Golazo for Anderlecht at Gent

What is it about rubbish ex-Liverpool players scoring wonder goals this week?!

Djimi Traore went against his reputation as a failed Liverpool defender (albeit with a Champions League medal) by scoring an absolute belter for Seattle Sounders against Tigres in midweek.

Meanwhile, on Saturday night, Milan Jovanovic scored a Matt Le Tissier-esque Golazo for Anderlecht at Gent as the Belgian league leaders drew 1-1 away.

Jovanovic took the ball down on his knee and chipped in a beauty into the top corner. It was the Serbian forward’s seventh goal of the season.

Of course, Milan Jovanovic failed to score during his one campaign at Anfield in 2010/2011.
