Mexican powerhouse Chivas Guadalajara slumped to their second straight defeat in the Mexican Clausura on Saturday night losing 3-1 at Jaguares, and they took their loss in bad spirits losing two players late on.
Chivas’ Jorge Enriquez and Hector Reynoso collected straight cards in the final stages of the contest, and both players deserved their reds following assaults more suited for a dark alley than a soccer pitch.
Enriquez was first to go in the 83rd minute after the midfielder cracked his boot into the head of opponent Jorge Hernandez as the Jaguares’ battler slid in to try and win the ball.
Three minutes later Reynoso was also marched off the pitch as the centre-half cynically elbowed forward Jackson Martinez in the face when the ball was already long gone.
