Who knew that at 34-years-old Robbie Fowler could flip like a gymnast.
Since moving to Down Under to join the new A-League franchise the North Queensland Fury, life for Fowler has been less than perfect. In week one the Fury lost 3-2, while last weekend the newbies were tonked 5-nil by fellow fresh-faced franchise, Gold Coast United.
On a personal level though, Fowler is without doubt making a splash in Australia.
In the match against Sydney FC Fowler broke his duck for the season, while against the Gold Coast, the former Liverpool striker almost broke Anderson Alves da Silva’s face with a bizarre handstand-kick which took out the Brazilian midfielder.
