FA Cut: Everton ban the BBC for comments made against Fellaini

The Daily Mail today publish the story that Everton have banned BBC TV cameras from their FA Cup semi-final press day on Tuesday “in protest at how Marouane Fellaini’s physical approach was portrayed on Match of the Day 2 when an apparent use of the elbow was highlighted during in the 3-3 draw at Aston Villa. Everton fear the BBC may have coloured the referee’s judgment before Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.”

Far be it from us to suggest that the tabloid is looking to whip up a storm in the teacup. But the evidence which we can bring you on what was said on MOTD2 sees the talking heads praise the Belgian for his stellar performance earlier this month against Wigan.
