Ex-Man United man Gary Neville offers Piers Morgan a job as Salford FC’s new kitman after buying club

Several weeks after rumours first surfaced, news broke on Thursday night that a band of Manchester United legends have bought non-league football club Salford City FC.

Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt are clubbing together to buy  the Evo-Stik League Division One North club later in the summer, subject to the approval of the Football Association and the Football League.

After the news broke, Gary Neville engaged in a round of Twitter messages discussing his latest acquisition, and during his tweeting session Piers Morgan chimed in with a question about who’ll be the manager of Salford City FC.

The former Man United defender hit back with a joke offering the former CNN host a lowly job at the club.
