It was a fluke but Otto Martler didn’t care.
A strange goal was spotted in the Swedish second division on Saturday during Falkenberg’s 4-0 win at Varberg.
Falkenberg, who are going great guns in the Superettan currently sitting in second place in the division, went ahead in just the 9th minute, and nine minutes later the visitors doubled their advantage when their goalie scored.
After keeper Otto Martlered whack a long clearance down the pitch, the ball bounced just outside the Varberg box and amazingly looped over home keeper Dan Sadé and into the net.
