We opened the week by bringing you one scoring goalie from Portugal (watch here), and happily we can close it out with a second scoring goalie.
On Wednesday night, while most of Europe was occupied with the UEFA Champions League, the CONCACAF region were quietly getting on with their own elite club tournament with MLS outfit the Houston Dynamo travelling to El Salvador to battle it out with Metapan.
It turned out to be a horrible night for the Dynamo, who conceded two goals inside the opening 10 minutes and another early in the second half to seal their elimination from the CONCACAF Champions League.
Nevertheless, the silver lining arrived as goalie Tally Hall (no, we didn’t make up his name) managed to net a rare goal, scoring from over 80-yards out on the stroke of halftime.
Tally Hall’s goal from way, way out can be seen here.
