Everton fan in charge of @FrenchToffees a victim in Paris terror attack, tributes flow

Everton fans are rallying online on Saturday as the story of one of the victims in the Paris terror attacks is being told.

Matt, a passionate Everton fan who ran the Twitter account @FrenchToffees, was one the victims on Friday night.

The news was made public via the Twitter account, as tweets went out on Saturday afternoon saying:

I do not know how to explain, probably not force, but in short, this account will no longer publish.

I do not have the strength to write what happened to us, but know that the person who was answering your messages will no longer.

A thought for these people to the stadium, the bars, especially in Bataclan. Immense sadness, no words. Directly affected.

Those tweets have quickly gone viral, as Everton and football fans in general have sent condolences and online messages.

Some of the tributes can be read below.
