Eden Hazard was of course crucial once again for Chelsea on Saturday evening, as they went seven points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 4-0 mauling of Spurs.
The Belgian brushed off an ankle injury picked up on international duty and had a key role in the second goal – crossing for Samuel Eto’o – who was pushed by Younes Kaboul – and then slotting home the penalty past Hugo Lloris.
Hazard though knew he had been upstaged by Samuel Eto’o with his goal and “old man” celebration as well as Demba Ba with two late Chelsea goals to add flourish to the final scoreline.
After the game, Hazard posted the picture above on Instagram, with the following message: “Congrats @setoo9 for his 300 career goals. Congrats @dembabafoot for his double today… And congrats for the nice win…”
