Dimitar Berbatov scored & got a beautiful assist as Monaco thrashed Lens 6-0 in the cup [Videos]

Dimitar Berbatov’s move to Monaco has so far been highly successful.

The former Tottenham, Manchester United and Fulham striker was again in amongst the goals on Wednesday night in the French Cup as Monaco thrashed Lens 6-0 to advance into the semifinals.

After Lucas Ocampos scored Monaco’s opener after 17 minutes, Dimitar Berbatov doubled the Principality’s lead when the Bulgarian star combined in a give-and-go with Emmanuel Riviere before Berba slotted home from close range.

The Berbatov-Riviere combination came together again for Monaco’s third goal as the Berba laid off a sublime through-ball to send Monaco’s forward clear before he scored.

Dimitar Berbatov has now scored four goals since moving from Fulham in January.
