Diego Costa seriously lost his cool at Goodison Park on Saturday.
It was a poor afternoon for Chelsea who are now out of the FA Cup at the hands of Everton, thanks to a brilliant brace from Romelu Lukaku against his former club.
Costa, who recovered from injury which saw him miss the final half an hour against PSG in midweek, was already on tenterhooks from kick off.
The former Atletico Madrid striker was running around getting stuck into the Everton defence from the first minute and bagged a booking on 11 minutes played.
After the Lukaku brace on 77 and 82 – the first was a stunning solo goal – Costa appeared to lose it and had an altercation with Gareth Barry.
Referee Michael Oliver sent Costa off for a second yellow, but there were many wondering if Costa bit his opponent in a way no one has seen in English football since Luis Suarez’s time at Liverpool.
Some angles and video of the Costa-Barry incident suggest that the Chelsea striker bit his opponent.
Incredible. And, it will be intriguing to see how the FA react to this…
Somehow this was Diego Costa’s first ever sending off as a Chelsea player. Everton head to Wembley for an FA Cup semi-final as Roberto Martinez looks to repeat his Wigan miracle…

People facetiously debating whether Diego #Costa actually bit, as if that matters, and which also overlooks the fact he headbutted, twice.

Diego Costa with a cheeky nibble on the neck. That's gonna be a 3-game ban at least!

All the shit that Diego Costa has pulled, its kind of fitting that it came to biting someone Dracula style…

BBC just brushing it off as if nothing happened with Costa there? Don't remember them being that easy on Suarez.
