Diagnosis on Marco Reus’ suspected ankle ligament rupture delayed due to swelling

Borussia Dortmund fans waiting on tenterhooks for updates on Marco Reus’ suspected ankle ligament rupture may have to wait some more.

Reus was taken to hospital on Saturday after receiving a bad tackle against Paderborn.

After leaving the pitch on a strecher is was clear that the Dortmund star would miss this week’s Champions League match at Arsenal, but now it feels like Reus may be out for a lot longer too.

The diagnosis on Marco Reus’ injury was suppose to be revealed on Sunday, but reports in Germany have said those results have been delayed by swelling on Reus’ ankle.

Sadly for Reus, the outlook is looking bleak.
