It’s Monday, so Garth Crooks is back at work on the BBC picking his team of the week.

His latest XI includes two players apiece from Liverpool, Man City and Leicester, plus a Swan, a Black Cat and a Hammer.

Starting with the league leaders, despite scoring three times against Stoke over the weekend, it’s two defensive players who made the cut.

At the back Wes Morgan is selected in a centre-half partnership with Swansea’s Ashley Williams, while defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante is back in the team of the week in the 4-5-1 formation.

Staying in midfield, we find two Liverpool men.Roberto Firmino is joined by James Milner following Liverpool’s epic 5-4 win at Norwich on Saturday.

They are joined by Dele Alli after he scored arguably the goal of the season in Tottenham’s 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.

The other team to have two players selected after Man City, after they drew 2-2 at West Ham. After bagging a brace, Sergio Aguero is the main man up front, while at the back Joe Hart is picked in goal.

The final three slots go to Irons’ playmaker Dimitri Payet, Chelsea right back Branislav Ivanovic and Sunderland left-back Patrick van Aanholt.
