The picture of Ryan Giggs in Holland today has all but confirmed that the Welsh wizard will be part of Louis van Gaal’s back room staff at Manchester United.
Following the Giggs-van Gaal meeting, reliable Dutch broadsheet De Telegraaf have announced three members of the back-room staff at Old Trafford next season.
Giggs will be LVG’s first assistant, which fits in with reports that suggest the Welsh flyer is keen for more involvement at Old Trafford.
Van Gaal will also bring with him Max Reckers as a video analyst and Frans Hoek as goalkeeping coach.
Hoek is particularly highly-rated and was credited with boosting the careers of both Edwin van der Saar and Victor Valdes.
Finally, De Telegraaf reveal that Patrick Kluivert, currently working with LVG for the Holland national team, will not be joining the backroom staff at Manchester United.
