Burnley’s 2-1 win at Blackburn was historic for the away side who claimed the first win over their local rivals since 1979.
Also spotted at Ewood Park was Manchester United boss David Moyes, as can be seen from the picture above.
It has not been rare to see the under fire Manchester United manager at various games this season, as he scouts players at a furious rate, but this may be the first time we have spotted Moyes at a Championship match.
Among the Blackburn starting XI was Michael Keane – on loan from Manchester United and playing his first game for the Championship side.
Whilst Corry Evans, brother of Jonny Evans, also started for Blackburn and is a former Manchester United reserve player.
And, in the Burnley side, the likes of Tom Heaton and David Jones came through the ranks at Old Trafford.
There were also a fair number of players on display who have impressed in the Championship this season, including strikers Jordan Rhodes and Danny Ings, who both scored in the match.
Both Rhodes and Ings look destined for the Premier League and Burnley’s Kieran Trippier has been one of the best defenders in the Championship in 2013/2014.
There was plenty to keep David Moyes interested!
