David Moyes is set to revive his managerial career by becoming the manager of La Liga side Real Sociedad.
According to AS, and Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, Moyes has said yes after being offered the vacant managerial position at the club.
The former Manchester United manager was the subject of ridicule after a spell at Old Trafford went disastrously. But in the months following his sacking, less than a year into his tenure, it is becoming more apparent that Moyes had more of a job on his hands than it was believed at the time.
Having previously bossed Preston and Everton, Moyes is taking the option of rebuilding his reputation abroad. He’s set to sign a contract with the club until 2017 and will become the highest paid manager in their history, earning around €2 million a year.
The appointment will be announced after Sociedad host Atletico Madrid tomorrow night, a game which Moyes will probably attend. He is expected to take charge of training on Monday.
