Romeo Beckham celebrated his 13th birthday this week and his father David hooked him up for England’s European Championship qualifier against Switzerland.

The youngster was England’s lead mascot and walked out with record breaking Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Young Romeo Beckham was seen chatting away with Wazza in the tunnel ahead of his historic night. Retired footballing legend David Beckham admitted to setting up the birthday treat.

“Romeo is obviously very lucky as part of his 13th birthday that I have a few connections still at the FA,” he told ITV.

“He’s one of the mascots tonight so he’s excited.”

England won 2-0 to maintain their impressive 100% record in qualifying, thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney.
