Dani Alves has told Brazilian newspaper O Globo that he’s leaving Barcelona next year to play in England.
The full-back has won 16 trophies during his six years at Camp Nou but has found his place under threat since the arrival of Douglas in the summer.
He told O Globo: “I am moving to England next year. I am going to play in the home of football. This will be my last year at Barcelona.”
Expect speculation to grow as to where the full-back could end up. He was previously tipped to head to PSG as part of a swap deal for Marquinhos.
Looking at some of the teams in the Premier League who have the finances to accommodate the Brazilian, Liverpool are one club who have been linked with Alves in the past.
