Dani Alves has signed a pre-contract agreement with PSG, and will move to the Parisian club this summer, where he’ll spend the next three seasons, according to Radio Marca.
The Madrid-based radio station claims that the decision is so rubber-stamped that Alves’ agent is already house-hunting for his player in Paris.
Radio Marca say that the contract – signed on the 10th of March – is worth 9 million euros gross per season, which will see him earn 27 million over the course of the contract – a huge sum for a player at the latter stage of his career.
Radio Marca point out that there’s nothing underhanded about this deal, as Alves was allowed to speak to other clubs from the 1st of January, given that his Barcelona contract is up this June.
Alves’ departure will leave the Catalan club rather short in the right-back position, given that summer signing Douglas has turned out to be a flop, while Luis Enrique clearly doesn’t have a whole lot of faith in Montoya making the grade over the long term.
