Cristiano Ronaldo is the most charitable athlete in the world [Look To The Stars]

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most charitable professional athlete in the world, according to this list published by Look To The Stars.

The site, which keeps track of celebrity benevolence, has drawn up this top 20 list, which 2015 Ballon D’Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo tops, with WWE star John Cena coming in second.

Interestingly, there are only two footballers on the list; Barcelona star Neymar Junior comes in fifth place, but Leo Messi does not feature, which is significant given that the Barcelona man is believed to be the top earner in world football.

Ronaldo’s charitable work has been well documented; the Real Madrid man has worked with Save The Children, as well as providing aid for his native Madeira when floods struck the island off Portugal (although he did not donate to the Nepal earthquake relief fund as was erroneously reported).
