Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t like being told what he can and cannot do, evidently.
According to The Huffington Post, the Portuguese jetted off to Morocco after Los Blancos’ win over Espanyol on Sunday night – just a week after being told that was exactly what he was not to do.
New manager Zinedine Zidane is believed to have ordered Ronaldo to put a stop to his bi-weekly trips to Morocco, where he goes to hang out with kickboxing friend Badr Hari.
Ronaldo uses his own private jet for the trips, which he normally takes after training, returning to Madrid later that same day.
But after scoring a hat-trick against Espanyol on Sunday night, and with the squad being given Monday off, Ronaldo decided to fly off to visit his friend in Marrakesh.
Florentino Perez won’t be best pleased to hear this – he was also behind the decision to put a stop to the Morocco trips; but the order has clearly fallen on deaf ears.
