On Thursday night, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas led his side to a 2-0 victory in the Europa League at Tromso.
Despite claiming he was ‘immune’ to all criticism after the 6-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, the Spurs boss showed otherwise at Tromso.
A fan named Reidar Stenersen jr. sat near the dugout singing ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’ and at half time AVB had security eject him from his seat.
The hairdresser/Manchester United fan was told he could sit in the opposite stand but instead chose to go to the pub.
He has remarkably dodgy facial hair for a hairdresser.
Reidar Stenersen jr. spoke to Norwegian newspaper Nordlys about the experience.
He said, “I first sung after five minutes that he would be ‘sacked in the morning’ and he looked at me. “At the half-time whistle, when it was still 0-0 and I started the same song, he pointed at me and suddenly the security came and threw me out.
“I know he is under a lot of pressure so I think my words hit him, even though I am only a little guy in little Tromso. He was being a bit petulant. This is the same thing that can be sung by 60,000 at the Emirates Stadium or other grounds.”
