It’s a grand year for the Bundesliga.
German football is currently on an upward trajectory. The Bundesliga widely regarded as one of the best leagues in world football, especially in terms of the treatment of their fans, whilst Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are flying the German flag away from home having both reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
All this comes in the year that the Bundesliga turned 50.
The modern version of the German football, the Bundesliga, began it’s life back on the 24th of August 1963, and the league has since played more than 15,000 games whilst showcasing some of the greatest talent ever to play the Beautiful Game.
Celebrating the Bundesliga’s half century, Coke Zero have launched a brilliant marketing campaign highlighting some of the league’s finest moments during the last 50 years.
Cleverly, Coke Zero have achieved their goals by mashing-up older and newer clips throughout the years of German football.
Two video have already been released in the campaign featuring clips of De Tünn, Loddar, Laudrup, Grafite, Matthaus, Neuer, Götze, Okocha and Lehmann.
