Chelsea are to allow Loic Remy move on loan to Crystal Palace – on one condition.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea will let Remy leave on loan as long as they manage to complete the signing of Alexandre Pato.
Pato is believed to be very close to making the move to the Bridge, and has been making all the right noises to that end, such as following the Blue on Instagram.
So once Pato is secured, they will allow Remy to leave, as they will then be back to three strikers – Diego Costa, Patrick Bamford and Pato. (plus the perennially injured Radamel Falcao, whose chances of ever playing for the Blues again look slim and none).
Sky Sports had earlier claimed that Leicester had rejected the offer to take Remy on loan, but it now looks like the Frenchman will get his move away, giving him the chance of more regular football ahead of Euro 2016.
