Chelsea loanee Alexandre Pato linked to a swap deal with Fluminense’s Fred [ESPN Brazil]

When it comes to the future of on loan Chelsea striker Alexandre Pato, ESPN Brazil have proved themselves to be a valuable source of information.

ESPN Brazil were one of the loudest voices in the build up to the loan deal who repeatedly said that Pato would join Chelsea from Corinthians.

Fast forwarding to the present, it’s widely accepted that the Blues have no intention of keeping the 26-year-old striker after his deal at Stamford Bridge comes to an end at the end of the campaign, and now a new rumour has surfaced.
According to ESPN Brazil, Corinthians are considering swapping Pato with Fluminense striker Fred.

Fred, who is 32, has this week indicated that he’s no longer willing to stay at Fluminense after falling out with the club’s manager Levir Culpi.

Fred is understood to be unhappy at being regularly substituted, however his complaints seem to be falling on deaf ears as FLu are currently on a10-game unbeaten run.
