Carlo Ancelotti refuses to talk about Gareth Bale & Spurs chase Fabio Coentrao [AS]

Perhaps stung by criticism from Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas last weekend, Carlo Ancelotti has refused to talk about Gareth Bale when questioned after Real Madrid’s 3-0 friendly win over Inter Milan on Saturday.

AS asked Ancelotti: “Do you expect Gareth Bale to arrive this summer?”

To which Ancelotti replied: “I am very happy with this team. Why talk of Bale, if [Alvaro] Morara and Jese [Rodriguez] played well?”

Meanwhile, Spurs continue to be linked with Real Madrid left-sided player Fabio Coentrao, who is eager to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

There have been suggestions that Coentrao will be part of the mega deal which takes Gareth Bale from White Hart Lane to Spain.

As it stands, AS claim Spurs, Monaco and Chelsea are all interested in Coentrao with the Portuguese international “studying various offers.”
