Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski tells Bild he has all but signed for Bayern Munich

Despite the fact Robert Lewandowski’s next club has been an open secret for some time, the Polish striker has continued to be linked with sides in England and Germany.

After pushing for a move to Bayern Munich last summer, it is now understood that Lewandowski is holding out for a free transfer move (apparently all personal terms are agreed) to the German champions at the end of 2013/2014.

Yet, Lewandowski has been linked by the transfer gossips to both Real Madrid and Barcelona as well as the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in England.

On Wednesday, just hours before Borussia Dortmund’s mouthwatering Champions League clash with Arsenal, Lewandowski all but told German newspaper Bild that the deal with Bayern is done.

Lewandowski: “I will reveal my future next year. No one needs to get in touch with me anymore.”

The Polish forward added: “I have decided what I am to do. I simply want to have a new challenge next season, despite the fact I am feeling very, very happy being at Borussia Dortmund.”

Robert Lewandowski’s hat-trick for Dortmund against Stuttgart on Friday night, in 18 minutes, can be seen below.
