Borussia Dortmund confirm Marco Reus sidelined for 4 weeks; Will miss Arsenal game

BVB’s Marco Reus was clattered into by Charlie Mulgrew in stoppage time of last night’s 2-1 Germany win over Scotland.

Reus was making his return for Germany, having picked up an ankle injury in a pre-World Cup friendly which ruled him out of Germany’s victorious World Cup campaign.

The Borussia Dortmund star was left in a heap on the ground by Scotland’s Mulgrew, and sat out the rest of the game on the side of the pitch with his head in his hands.

His club today confirmed that Marco Reus would be sidelined for four week with a fresh ankle injury.

Reus will miss five league games and two Champions League games, against Arsenal and Anderlecht.
