The BBC’s Dan Walker kicked off Football Focus on Saturday with an interview with Manchester United’s now 40-year-old legend Ryan Giggs.
Manchester United midfielder Giggs, who made his debut against Everton in March 1991, celebrated his 40th birthday on Friday, and spoke to the BBC ahead of Sunday’s important fixture against Tottenham in the Premier League.
Giggs was quick to admit just how influential Sir Alex Ferguson was in his footballing development, before turning to the discussion to how the Welshman has now become a player-coach at United under new boss David Moyes.
Giggs was hugely positive about David Moyes and Manchester United’s chances to win silverware this season, before talk turned to the number #11’s greatest memories in his footballing career.
