Bastian Schweinsteiger took to social media to celebrate with Wayne Rooney, after the Man United skipper broke Premier League and club records after his goal against Swansea on Saturday.
In a tightly contested match at Old Trafford, the hosts took the lead in the second half through Anthony Martial, before Swansea equalised through Gylfi Sigurdsson.
United fans thought it was going to be another one of those days, until skipper Wayne Rooney scored a sensational goal, to give United their first win since November.
Rooney’s goal takes his tally to 238 for the Red Devils, meaning the 30-year-old surpasses Dennis Law in United’s all time list of goalscorers.
The United skipper also broke a Premier League record, after his 188th top flight goal, moved him ahead of Andy Cole as the Premier League’s second highest goalscorer in history.
