Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto has been announced safe after the Paris attack, having spent the past couple of days in the French capital.
Having missed out a Spain call-up, Roberto decided to make the most of his free time with a short city break.
Sport report that the Barcelona man was spending his free days in Paris with friends, and experienced the events out on the street.
He was told to return to home immediately, and heeded the warning, returning to his hotel with his friends.
West Brom’s Rickie Lambert was another player who was spending the weekend in Paris, as was Crystal Palace’ Martin Kelly, and both have thankfully been announced safe and sound by their respective clubs.
