Bacary Sagna probably wishes he would have stayed away from Wembley today.
The French full back was spotted in the stands at the Community Shield, sitting close to his new Manchester City team mates.
For Sagna it might well have been a chastening experience having left Arsenal in the summer, perhaps just before their first real title challenge in years.
This was the side that Sagna waited so long for at the Emirates.
And, whilst the right back will now challenge for trophies, there has to be a real doubt whether Sagna will play all the time.
After all, he was sitting in the stands alongside Pablo Zabaleta, arguably the best full back in the Premier League during 2013/2014.
During Arsenal’s Community Shield win, Sagna was compared to Ashley Cole, lurking by his new Manchester City team mates.
And, many Arsenal fans wondered why the Frenchman had left the club.
For the money presumably. Well, we all would! Right?!

18 Arsenal players have won a trophy since Sagna left the club.

It took Sagna 8 years to win a trophy. It took Debuchy one game. Makes you think.
