Great things were expected of Barcelona youngster Adama Traore but the 19-year-old has failed to make the grade in Catalonia.
Liverpool and Stoke were linked to the talented Spaniard since he was left out of the Barcelona pre-season squad but he has reportedly agreed a three year deal with Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood.
With no mention of any transfer fee, Spanish newspaper AS report that the two parties have the option of extending his contract to a fourth year.
Blessed with pace, trickery and strength, Adama Traore will hope to be involved with the Aston Villa first team after playing only 7 minutes for Barcelona in La Liga.
He joined the famous La Masia academy as an 8-year-old but, yet to be promoted from the Barcelona B team, Adama Traore will try and make his name in the Premier League at Aston Villa.
He’ll have great role models to look up to at Villa Park in Charles N’Zogbia, Scott Sinclair and Jack Grealish.
