Arsene Wenger & Ronald Koeman quarrel in the tunnel after Arsenal 0 – Saints 0 [Mirror]

Will this be on a tunnel cam video?

Following Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Southampton on Tuesday night in the Premier League, opposition managers Arsene Wenger and Ronald Koeman had a war of words in the tunnel.

That’s according to a report in the Mirror.

Arsene Wenger has now come up against Ronald Koeman on 11 occasions as Arsenal manager, and the Gunners boss has won just two of those matches.

On Boxing Day, Saints beat the Gunners 4-0 at St Mary’s in a match that Wenger contended included three goals that never should have stood.

Following last night’s stalemate the Arsenal boss is again reported to have charged the officials with acting unfairly against his team. As reported in the Mirror:

Wenger confronted referee Lee Mason and fourth official Craig Pawson and accused him of missing a string of decisions as Arsenal suffered a serious setback in the title race.

Wenger said: “It’s always the same with you.”

But Koeman then saw the exchange and confronted Wenger before replying: “It’s always the same with you.”

Koeman added: “You had 10 chances to score and couldn’t take any of them so why have a go at them?”
