Earlier this season, Arsenal travelled to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup after a positive result at White Hart Lane, and lost some key players to injuries.
On Tuesday evening, Arsenal travelled up north again following a draw at Spurs and lost three players to injury.
First off, it should be noted that Arsenal dealt well with Hull despite all these injuries. A brace from Olivier Giroud and a third from Theo Walcott completed victory against The Tigers once again.
It is now three seasons in a row that Arsenal have knocked Hull out the FA Cup.
But, the win came at a pretty big cost.
Per Mertesacker picked up a head injury in the first half.
Gabriel Paulista then came off with a knock in the second half.
And, substitute Aaron Ramsey lasted just 16 minutes before coming off with a thigh problem.
Arsenal fans don’t need much to set them off on Twitter, so the rage that was forthcoming should not be too much of a surprise…
Next up for Arsenal is an FA Cup match at home to Watford followed by a trip to Barcelona…

Same thing happened injury wise to Arsenal at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season. Serious questions to be asked about their preparation

Only time you will ever see 3 subs in an Arsenal match before 80mins is when none are tactical

Ramsey needs to be fit for next week. Can't have him added to the injury list.Incredibly frustrating.

Oh my. Ramsey, on as a sub, is taken off injured. Wenger said yesterday they were closely managing a possible injury. Not well enough.

The Arsenal dressing-room is going to resemble a scene from M*A*S*H . Ramsey off with a shoulder problem.

Haha Ramsey now with a muscular problem. One person to blame in my humble opinion.

Ramsey is always injured. Same muscular injuries all the time. Maybe time to do more streching?
