Arsenal and Man United scouts were present at the Estádio do Dragão last night to watch Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
The 18-year-old put in a man of the match display during his side’s 2-1 win over Pacos, and representatives of the Premier League giants will be very impressed with what they saw.
The Porto midfielder has been hotly tipped to become one of Portugal’s best midfielders, and at only 18 became the youngest ever player to captain a side in the Champions League.
Neves is reported to have a £30 million release clause in his contract.
This is not the first time Arsenal have scouted the midfielder, as earlier last week the North London side sent former player Luis Boa Morte to watch the player in action (read earlier story here).
The midfielder is wanted by a number of clubs in Europe, including United and Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool.
