Arsenal are in absolutely awesome form!
The Gunners followed their victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Everton at The Emirates.
Arsene Wenger’s side appeared to be in control with two quick-fire first half goals from Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny.
The crosses for both the goals, via Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla respectively, were excellent.
But, Ross Barkley pulled one back before the break with a deflected effort leaving the Gunners to scrap in the second half.
Both crossbars were hit, via Olivier Giroud and Romelu Lukaku, and Petr Cech made a huge save from Ross Barkley with just minutes remaining.
Arsenal held on and have now won four on the bounce in the Premier League.
As a result of the three points, Arsenal went top of the Premier League ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday.
No trophies are handed out in October but this Arsenal side look like they have more than enough quality to stay up there this season.
TOP OF THE LEAGUE Big result today. Tired legs and a lot of fight. I love Ozil, Bellerin and Cech. Outstanding today.

That is a big, big win. We looked tired in the 2nd half after Tuesday, but deserved the 3 points. Giroud and Ozil fantastic.

Good to see Giroud finding form again. Deserves great credit for keeping head down, working hard and fighting for place. Wenger has options

I think Cech has already won 4-5 points for Arsenal. Points Arsenal wouldn't have had without him
