Arsenal cool interest in Julian Draxler, Bayern favourites for Schalke midfielder in 2015 [Jan Aage Fjortoft]

Jan Aage Fjortoft, the former Norwegian international who famously played for Swindon Town, has been a consistent source of information over the future of Schalke’s Julian Draxler in the past few months.

On Sunday Fjortoft posted updates on Draxler on his Twitter account, and the big news is that Arsenal appear to be dropping out of the race.

In an eye-grabbing worded tweet, Fjortoft wrote, “looks like Arsenal have cooled down their interest in player after scouting reports tell them he can’t be made into a striker.”

With Arsenal dropping interest levels, ,Bayern Munich look to be in pole position for the German attacking midfielder, with reports circulating that the Bavarians have cut a deal with Schalke for part payment now with the player moving in 2015.
