Arsenal have agreed a €4m fee for the double signing of Lens youth team players Yassin Fortune (16) & Jeff Reine-Adelaïde (17), according to French daily L’Equipe.
Arsene Wenger has a history of buying young French players and appears to have pulled off a coup with Le Parisien claiming Lens wanted €10m for the pair.
We reported on Yassin Fortune’s proposed move to Arsenal earlier this week but he will now reportedly be joined by his Lens U19 teammate Jeff Reine-Adelaïde (photographed above).
16 year old Yassin Fortune has been linked to Manchester United but Arsene Wenger’s history of nurturing young French players reportedly convinced him to choose Arsenal.
Due to play in the final of the U17 European Championships on Friday, 17 year old Jeff Reine-Adelaïde is considered one of the best young talents to have come through the Lens academy.
Arsenal hope to finalise the deal before the transfer window opens this summer.
